Tom Baroch is someone who worked tirelessly for SBA and for people with Spina Bifida. In 2018, we lost Tom far too soon. To honor Tom and to keep his spirit alive, the Tom Baroch Advocacy Award was created.
The Award is presented to an individual or individuals who have had a significant and lasting impact on advocacy for research and other policy issues affecting the lives of people with Spina Bifida. The intent of the Award is to put the spotlight on an advocate(s) who dedicate him/herself to representing people with Spina Bifida in the public policy arena.
